Our Affirmation

We affirm unity in diversity, inviting and welcoming all people
into our congregation, according to the call of God and the
model of Jesus of Nazareth.

Our Congregation

Our primary moment of congregation is worship where we celebrate, in word, music and prayer, God's love, our call to be God's people interpreted within scripture and the life of the world, and the energizing of our mutual and individual ministries as we each work in special ways to be instruments of transformation for our community and world. We further congregate in fellowship to learn by nurture, study, discussion and meditation, and to renew ourselves through companionship, talk and play. We congregate in unity while affirming our diversity, inviting others to join us and welcoming them among us, through minds and hearts seeking to be open to others' gifts, encouraging all to grow in their faith and understanding and looking to Jesus of Nazareth as the one who best models the way God would have us live.

We desire our worship life to be warm, lively, hopeful, friendly, comforting, challenging and exciting. Our worship style is to seek moments of peace and joy in both formal and informal settings.  Within this context we emphasize strong  preaching, excellence in music, and intercessory prayer.

We meet for worship:

SUNDAYS at 10 a.m.
and for special services such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Christmas Eve.
  Our Nurture
Nursery childcare is provided during worship. Learning Community and Junior Classes leave the worship service after a children's time. A biblically and ethically based curriculum provides the core content. Children of all ages are encouraged to learn at their pace and level of comfort. Safety and warm relationships are emphasized.

  Our Sacraments
The Lord's Supper is celebrated the first Sunday of each month.
Baptism is celebrated within the worship service by prior arrangement with the pastor.

The rites of Marriage, Memorial Services and Funerals, reception into membership and confirmation are scheduled with the pastor. Our installed pastor performs all such rites within the life of our congregation.
